Dr. Bigelow has been working in the field of nutrition for the past 20 years. He is a Registered Dietitian with a doctorate in health science, a certificate in alternative nutrition, and a certificate in value-based healthcare.
Dr. Bigelow’s career has focused mostly on education and public/community health, though he also has experience in foodservice and clinical dietetics. He currently is serving as the Interim Director of a Women, Infant, and Children’s (WIC) Program located in Southern California.
Dr. Bigelow has a passion for education and a whole person healthcare approach. He believes that an individual’s good health begins well before conception and is shaped by their environment and societal factors. He believes that health and wellness is not just a personal journey, but a community endeavor.
