Dr. Leanne Barry has been an adjunct faculty member at several universities for over eight years and has taught a variety of courses in the field of health and wellness, public health and nutrition.
Leanne also currently works at Tufts Health Plan in the Department of Population Health and Wellness Programs (Watertown, MA). She leads a team with a focus on worksite wellness, population health, managing disease management programs, and health promotion and disease prevention. Leanne’s prior places of employment include the Healthy Community Coalition (Farmington, ME) and the Women, Infants, and Children Program (Auburn, ME).
Dr. Barry lives in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Ipswich is a coastal town just north of the great city of Boston. Outside of work and school Leanne enjoys running, cooking, reading, and spending time with family, especially her 7-year-old nephew.
