Dear Incoming Student,
Most likely, you are enrolling in SCNM to deepen your knowledge of naturopathic medicine and obtain your degree to advance further in your life professionally. The lessons you learn in the classroom will certainly help you achieve that goal. At SCNM, we are dedicated to a healthy and safe campus and ensuring that our students are advancing themselves beyond the classroom. We are committed to setting you up for greater success both as a student and as a member of the community here and beyond.
In an effort to further advance our students beyond the classroom, SCNM has partnered with EVERFI whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as drug and alcohol abuse prevention and sexual assault prevention, in higher education institutions across the country. SCNM is fortunate to enjoy a very healthy and safe campus and we are committed to maintaining this excellent record.
SCNM expects you to complete three brief courses prior to Orientation: AlcoholEdu for College, Sexual Assault Prevention for Graduate Students, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. These online courses will help you develop the critical skills to make more thoughtful and educated choices outside the classroom. Our hope is that with these skills you will find greater success both here at SCNM and well beyond graduation. Students, faculty and staff are required to complete Everfi courses annually as part of our campus commitment to advancement, education and campus safety. You will receive information with registration information a few months prior to the start of the quarter.
Everfi courses for the Spring 2020 entering classes are now live. You should look for an email from Everfi. Please check your junk or spam folders as well.
